How we evaluate AI tools
Every tool reviewed on Bla AI Tools goes through the same evaluation, so reviews stay comparable over time.
Our process
- Research: we start with the vendor’s own documentation, pricing page and changelog.
- Hands-on trial: where a free trial or free plan exists, we sign up and run the tool on a real task, not a scripted demo.
- Comparison: we compare the tool with its two or three closest alternatives on features and total cost.
- Limitations check: we deliberately look for what the tool cannot do, what is locked behind higher tiers, and what reviewers commonly complain about.

Updates and corrections
AI tools change pricing and features often. We revisit reviews when a vendor announces a major change, and we correct factual errors as soon as we spot them. The date at the top of each review shows when it was last updated.
